This will be one of the several posts dedicated to my yearly visit back east.
Thank you for joining me as I reflect back on my trip and food adventures. Enjoy~

If you haven't already noticed, I have a very big sweet tooth. Lucky for me, my girl friends do as well! ^_^
Instead of meeting at a coffee shop this time, my girl friend and I met at a Korean bakery cafe chain called Paris Baguette. There are several locations opened up in the United States, mainly in California, New York, and New Jersey, with just one location in Pennsylvania. Before I left Jersey, this location was in the process of being built and wasn't opened yet.
Walking in, all I could do was ogle at the pastries available.
This was just one side of the cafe! The other side was lined with pastries all along the wall with a table in the middle filled with cookies and macarons and other delicious items. I could have honestly spent over an hour looking through everything!
I eventually chose a Pistachio Macaron, a Royal Pudding, and a slice of Mocha Cream Cake. I savored every bite of the soft Mocha Cream Cake. It was exquisite! The Pistachio Macaron and the Royal Pudding I saved as an afternoon snack for the next day. I have had better macarons, but the Royal Pudding was so good! It was a delicate creamy custard-like texture of milk pudding with an almost liquid jelly layer of vanilla caramel on the bottom. If I could, I would buy every single Royal Pudding off their shelves!
I also ordered an Mango Smoothie with Tapioca which was only alright.
Before I left, my friend gifted me with these salt and pepper shakers of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building to remind me of home. ^_^ Thank you!!!
All in all, I rather enjoyed Paris Baguette even if it is a chain bakery cafe. The atmosphere is cute and I loved all the sweets available. Not to mention, I can easily eat my weight in Royal Pudding! If you ever see a Paris Baguette, you must stop in and pick something up!
