This will be one of the several posts dedicated to my yearly visit back east.
Thank you for joining me as I reflect back on my trip and food adventures. Enjoy~

Once again, I met up with my old coworker from back in a day. We met up again in Freehold and walked around again looking for a place to eat at. This time we decided on Mexican.
For someone who doesn't normally eat or choose to eat Mexican, I sure had a lot of Mexican food this trip!
We started off with the complimentary chips and salsa, which I didn't partake in as the salsa was too spicy for me.
One of us ordered the tacos. He inhaled them so I assume they were good!
I ordered the Quesadilla de Pollo, stuffed warm flour tortilla with sauteed mixed vegetables, melted Monterey Jack Cheddar cheese and chicken served with sour cream and pico de gallo. There was nothing special about this, but I should note that I loved how the sour cream is piped out for display.
My friend ordered Steak Fajitas sauteed with peppers and onions, topped with El Meson special demi brown sauce and fresh vegetables. It was a bit weird when the dish showed up with broccoli and carrots. I don't think I've ever seen that before. It reminded me of Chinese-American Chinese stir fry... This dish was also devoured!
While the food wasn't memorable this time around (like the sweet potato fries at Court Jester), I had a wonderful time catching up with my friend and finally had the chance to meet her boyfriend. By the time dinner was over, my cheeks hurt from laughing all night long! Wonderful times as always. ^_^
