This will be one of the several posts dedicated to my yearly visit back east.
Thank you for joining me as I reflect back on my trip and food adventures.  Enjoy~

23 E Palisade Avenue, Englewood, NJ 07631 201 541 0600

Originally, the group of us were heading over to Englewood for some amazing sushi at this quaint little place.  However, when we arrived, the place was closed!  So we headed down Palisades Avenue until we happened upon this place.

For someone whose first choice isn't Mexican, I sure ate a lot of Mexican cuisine during this trip!

Our complimentary chips and salsa.  I didn't try this because I was too preoccupied elsewhere.

I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, grilled chicken and melted cheese sandwiched between two flour tortillas and topped with pico de gallo, salsa and jalapanos with your choice of sour cream or guacamole.  The green flour tortillas threw me off, but this wasn't too bad.  I didn't have room for more than half of this and packed the rest home for lunch the next day.

Overall, Blue Moon Mexican Cafe wasn't good or bad.  The atmosphere was good, but the interior was too dark.  The food wasn't anything special, but it wasn't bad either.  Everything was just normal.  I guess if you're looking for Mexican, you can always head over, but don't go out of your way.
